FAQ

Q: What is Dulzura?

A: We're an Australian family owned business based in Brisbane who love coffee. We discovered what good Colombian coffee actually is and wanted to bring it to Australia for all to experience. Unfortunately, we couldn't find any of the well known Colombian brands in Australia. Fortunately, we decided to find a way to bring them to Australia for you.

Dulzura in Spanish means - sweetness, much like the coffees we have.

Q: Where do you get these coffees?

A: Colombia of course! We've partnered with the best Colombian Coffee brands so you can drink coffee like a Colombian. Your coffee is imported to Australia straight from Colombia. In time, we will expand our range to include more coffees from our current partners as well as other exceptional Colombian coffee brands to Australia.

Q: Where is my order?

A: We ship all of our orders with the courier service Aramex. This is to ensure you get you coffee as quickly as possible in the best condition. When you make your order, you will be sent a confirmation email with a tracking number so you can see where your order is. To ensure you get the best possible product, we've asked Aramex not to leave your coffee exposed to the elements, so if no one is home, Aramex may leave a note with instructions to pick your order up at the nearest Post Office.

Enter your tracking number where required in the following link https://www.aramex.com/au/en/track/shipments

Some Brisbane orders will have a Dulzura representative hand deliver the order. If that is the case, you will be notified via email and/or txt.

As always in these pandemic times, sometimes deliveries may unfortunately be delayed. We apologise if this happens to you.

Contact us directly at info@dulzura.com.au if you can't see your tracking number anywhere or have any questions about your order.

Q: How do I get the best out of my premium Colombian coffee beans?

A: Each of our whole bean coffee products is unique, so each product will have their own recommended grind size and weight of beans. The machine you use may also affect the recommended grind size and weight of beans you should use. The aim is to get the pressure gauge to the middle of the espresso range.

Generally, we have found starting at a medium grind size and using a weight of 18 to 20 grams for your beans, will get you pretty close if you tamper your grinded beans appropriately. You'll have to experiment to get that perfect coffee shot and taste!

Q: Your coffee is expensive compared to my normal whole bean coffee!

A: That's because this is a premium product compared to your normal coffee! Our suppliers are the most respected in the coffee industry in Colombia, so quality and exceptional taste is assured. There is a reason why Colombian coffee is considered the best in the world, the only way to find out why is to try it yourself.

On average you'll get around 26 cups of coffee from a 500g pack, which equates to approximately $2.68 per coffee. That's a lot less than your average $4.50 - $5 coffee at a café. When you factor in the high quality and taste of our coffee, it's a bargain!

Q: How do I get the best deals!?

A: We always have deals available! The best way to get them is to subscribe to our emails, our subscribers get the best deals!
